Friday, 27th April 2018: Scooch
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Tae Kwon Do / Kick Boxing instructor was unable to visit our school. Hopefully we can rearrange this activity for some time in the future. We played scooch with the children instead.
The children were given ‘Active Homework’ for the duration of the week. Here’s a selection of some of the photos emailed to the school by parents.
Our school encouraged pupils and parents to walk to school where possible. We also walked to the Enniscorthy Sports Hub. We also promoted physical activity in a cross curricular way throughout the week. For example ‘Deir Ó Grádaigh’, the ‘Haka’ in Music and experiments in S.E.S.E. about the heart and lungs.

We contacted other local physical amenities (Tennis and Pitch and Putt) close to our school but unfortunately they were unavailable during Active School Week, but we hope to make use of their facilities at a later date.
